The Nationa(a)l Pop-Up store is dedicated to the sale, exhibition and promotion of creative products by emerging and established Belgian creators from various disciplines in an unusual location, complemented with original happenings (fashion shows, concerts, signing sessions, brunches with artists) organised and surrounded by an out of the box, unique scenography.
Every year, the Nationa(a)l Pop-Up Store presents a qualitative selection of confirmed and emerging Belgian talents from 6 creative disciplines : Visual Arts, Design, Fashion, Cinema, Publishing & Music. For each creative discipline, the selection is being done by the confirmed Belgian creators, ambassadors of the Nationa(a)l Pop-Up store endorse up-and-coming Belgian creators they like and want to promote by choosing and exhibiting next to them.
We were glad to design a communication strategy for this event that took place in May 2014 in the Solvay building in Brussels. By combining PR, digital media and a few tweaks on the event itself, we promoted the Pop-up store mainly by generating conversations about their concept and the work that was on sale.
